You have to be proactive. I’m in NC - 56 and high risk. NC still hasn’t opened to my group. It will next week. Probably doesn’t matter because there’s next to no availability around me. In the meantime SC opened to anyone over 55 last week. Played around and found a clinic around 2 1/2 hours from me. No problem getting an appointment and they had no problem with me and my husband coming from out of state. Got our first shots this week and second appointment is scheduled. They even joked with me about winning the prize for the person that travelled the furthest to get to them. LOL

If you have transportation, I suggest looking in the more rural areas. For some reason they seem to have more supply. Either that or a higher population that is refusing the vaccine. We even enjoyed the drive. It’s the closest thing we’ve had to a trip in a year. 😃
