9. Let me take their position for a moment and demonstrate the paradox.

If you believe that destroying a fertilized egg is "murder", then abortion should be illegal under any circumstance. It really doesn't matter at what stage. Once the sperm penetrates the egg, "life" is conceived. (My opinion is that it is merely an extension of the female body).


"Murder" is "murder". There is no grey area.

For political reasons, Romney says that "murder" is ok in some cases.

Look.....either you believe it or you don't. You can't have half-assed moral indignation.

I disagree with their position, but if I agreed with them, the dliemna would be swirling in my head.

Romney's position is weak. For a true believer, you can't "murder" any fertilized egg.
