2. If corporations are "people" and people are subject to the Alternative Minimum Tax...

I do understand a bit about net operating loss rules, but it seems that corporations seem to get better tax treatment when they report a so-called "loss." Individuals are restricted to a $3,000 loss per year (on passive activity). At least that is my understanding.
