Neither of these issues should be "over" yet. There is a LONG way to go.

Something I'd never noticed before: Chauvin's stress level. The defence claim was that he was intimidated by the crowd around him - despite having an armed protection unit with him. I'm not saying that they and their guns would be able to subdue the bystanders if they got too restive, but I would like their chances.

But Chauvin being in fear for his life? He's so fearful and stressed, he's got his hand in his pocket. A SURE sign of high anxiety.

In fact, I find it so significant (while it probably has no legal weight, it might help convince a jury who often dispense justice instead of the law. In this case, hopefully both) that I hope the prosecution has made mention of it. If not, I'd love to see it suggested for their summation.
