like many (or even most) politicians his ego is in play. There are many ego maniacal asshole politicians, just lurking in the shadows, waiting for something to launch them into a position to have their 15 minutes of fame. Once caught up in it, they will continue to do whatever they did to get them there over and over. The past few years have shown us several of them in the Dem Party.....

Just look at all the self aggrandizement of many politicians for proof. The epitome of which would be either Trump or McConnell.....
and of course the grand master, Ronald Reagan and his bestest of buddies Cheney/Rumsfeld..........
Actually, the list of them is endless.........

Manchin is in a red state, and scrambling to retain his seat? The easiest covert way to do that is become a DINO.
Manchin and other DINO's are the classic definition of selfishness, willing to do anything, and sell their soul, even if their actions/voting could trash a great nation. After these past years, we have come to expect that from RepubliCONs, but it is hard to fathom these two Dem asshole Senators that are walking around flaunting their Elephant badges on their jackets..............

I have seen it many times. A true RepubliCON who runs as a Dem. He gets all the Dems to vote for him or her. He/she also gets a ton of RepubliCONs to vote for them because they know that truly he/she is a Repub.......

We had a really super famous one here in Colorado years ago. She would scream from the rooftops how wonderful she was at working for the Dems. Her followers were true believers, all out worshippers of her. Of course, if you looked at her voting record, which most people never take the time to do, her true self became incredibly evident..........
