5. Yep. All the way over your head too. Worked for me. Not supposed to take pain meds.

I was swinging my arm around frequently (like every 10 minutes for the first few hours).

Was also told not to take any pain meds -- the cdc has a report that tests on mice show pain meds can reduce antibody response, and so recommends avoiding pain meds if at all possible.

So I suffered one night with a pretty bad headache -- it was two days after the shot. I got in a recliner to keep my head elevated and keep the blood pressure lower in my head. Next morning I was tired, but no longer feeling the effects of the shot. Slept like a rock the next night!
