(10,777 posts)elections through election law changes as we speak. It seems to me that if they are successful in their election rigging and can take back states like Georgia, Arizona, PA, etc., in 2022, we will probably have lost our democratic process. So we need to protect our turf first. Bring challenges in the courts to strike down Republican anti-democracy laws, or at least delay implementation, and protect/defend our majorities in 2022. I think a rigorous campaign against their anti-democracy efforts could be helpful too, where we face close races and need to get enough voters to see the truth in what the Republicans are up to. I think that's where the focus should be. I don't know that we have the votes in Congress now to pass bold legislation with the likes of Manchin pushing back on everything Joe tries to do. Not saying not to try, but I have little hope of anything significant getting done without changing the filibuster rules or eliminating it.
