The European far right would have gotten nowhere without the help of the European far left. The East German ruling party, the SED (Socialist Unity Party of Germany), never conducted a thorough de-Nazification program because their official line was „we‘re all good Socialists now, no more Nazis here!“ After the Wall fell, guess what part of Germany had a huge rise in neo-Nazi activity? Yup, that part where their existence had been denied in the first place. „We have no problem, therefore, we are in no need of a solution.“
