All jokes aside, Shelties are incredibly intelligent dogs. As a kid, my neighbor ran a large dairy farm. He had 2 Shelties. Those dogs were my faves. Each evening, they would round up the herd of dairy cows and gently guide them to the barn for their 6PM milking. Point is, the dogs coordinated the roundup and were very gentle with the cattle herd. It shows their intelligence. Just a fun story from way back..
