23. Here are some of Tim Scott's own contradictory words

He said "I have experienced the pain of discrimination." He said he "knows what it feels like to be pulled over for no reason". He also said he "knows what it's like to be followed around the store while I'm shopping.

Is it just me, or do these statements sound contradictory for someone trying to make the claim that America is not racist?
