...for a theory that a vase fell off a shelf, and then a vase falls off a shelf, you have to be pretty stupid not to have a good idea why that vase fell.

But, yeah, sure, there was no Russian plan to use a nearly similar technique of stolen emails to attempt to interfere with the US election in 2020. After 2016, they just closed up shop and stayed home.
