from a dark web site and traced one to his IP address and that's how they got the search warrant for his computer.

His wife has known since 2015 that he molested his sisters, chose to take him back and have three more kids with him putting her faith in a bit of software to curb his worst instincts.

He was also busted cheated on her when the Ashley website was hacked but she still didn't kick him to the curb. Her parents are brainwashed fundamentalists who homeschooled her as well and I guess at this point with seven kids and no education she figures he's a sunk cost.
