and a local help agency are giving them on a walk-in basis. I was waiting for one of the staff at the agency yesterday as we were going to lunch, and heard two staffers talking to a vaccine-hesitant client. I asked if I could step in, and told the woman that I, one of the most needle-phobic people in the world, had gotten both modernas, with absolutely no side effects. I told her that she would feel relief after. She chose to take it! That made the staffers and me feel good.
I am needle-phobic and claustrophobic. One of my friends has a son-in-law who is a stubborn, health-indifferent jackass, who actually wears a mask to protect his family. I tell people, if he and I can wear masks, and get our shots, so can everybody else.

Remember, it's 2 weeks after the 2nd shot that you are considered fully vaccinated
