Now if they'd asphyxiated him in a more gentle matter, then posed him with his pants down and his hands as though they'd fallen away from his groin, that might be believable.

Fractured hyoid and larynx? Temporary outage of the cell camera? 2 guards asleep at the same time? Alone in his cell when rules demanded a cellmate?
