surprised that they built a large edifice there. I'm not sure what your objection is, really. Certainly we have plenty of huge edifices here in the USA, as well, especially in NYC. Do you object to those as well on the same grounds?

Millions of Muslims make pilgrimages to Mecca. It is the center of the Islamic world.
