(10,385 posts)49. I recall Ohio had issues with weight of paper ballots.
It was related to Ken Blackwell. Many were concerned about Ohio for weeks before the election.
I was a poll watcher in Santa Ana in a poor district where lines were long into the night and machines were down. I recall listening to Air America warnings about how people in long lines in Ohiio should be allowed to vote as they arrived before poll closings. But they were turned away.
Horrible night. Was Kerry right to concede?
