The illness is treated well now, even in severe cases. We have no choice but to join the optimism and move forward to as much normal as we can grab.
If there are variants, we'll deal with them when it happens. It's a sad pandemic. We wanted to save everyone and prevent suffering. Life doesn't always work that way.
