1) LP tweets they are hearing things
2) Some follower of theirs named Lauren Apollo, with no obvious credibility to be in the know, tweets out a "please let it be that Ron DeSantis is caught up in this!"
3) Apollo is just hoping, not claiming to know anything real
4) But the way the embedded tweet shows here on DU, it makes it appear like LP is responding to Aplollo and endorsing get tweet (or, saying 'yes,.we.are hearing things about a Desantis connection"

5) But they aren't at all related. LP probably has no idea that Apollo posted that. They certainly aren't endorsing the rumor.
And the biggest issue is...
6) The confusion got a bunch of DUers excited about something new that didn't happen.
7) If you hadn't included the LP tweet with the Aplollo one, no one would have responded.
8) Everyone is excited.because it seems like a trusted organization is hinting of some Desantis news.
9) They aren't.
If this hadn't caught fire wouldn't be taking my time to challenge this. But it did. Because of the LP angle.
