it put you into a dream state almost immediately. and if you force yourself to stay awake (how people abuses it), you will hallucinate like in a dream. which also explains how people have amnesia afterwards like you normally do forgetting your dreams after waking.

yes it is trippy. and really really bad if you're addicted to it.
