6. Once again -- restructuring

for the Post Office (and bringing it closer to profit based competitive modeling) has long been a goal for many in congress. And unfortunately that 'ideal' has enjoyed quite a bit of Democratic support in the past -- making it close to something like bi-partisan. DeJoy was hired by Trump -- but the basis of the ideas being brought into play long preceded him -- both on the board, and in congress.

Post Office has been a political pawn -- and subject to mismanagement and 'thumbs on the scale' political oversight --for a good long while.
