Unlike unions, the FOP, or the NEA, each of which represent their constituent members to employers, the ABA has no formal relationship to anyone (to the bar, to individual states, to employers, etc.) It's just a collection of attorneys. The only formal role the ABA plays is in accrediting law schools - and she's way past that. I have no idea whether she is even a member.

And far too many assume (and point to the ABA) as having the ability to disbar attorneys, when they have no influence at all in disciplinaray actions against any individual attorney.
