Minority rules in the Senate because of the filibuster and we've got two, maybe three senators with DiFi included, who opposed getting rid of the anti-democractic, rule used most often in history to preserve racist policies.
I hope Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer can persuade Manchin and Sinema (with DiFi probably not completely coherent on her stand on it), I hope they persuade them with promises of shovel-ready infrastructure projects for their states with thousands of good jobs if they vote to get rid of the filibuster and thus allow the infrastructure bill and others to pass which wiil modernize the nation for the rest of the 21st century and preserve what's left of our democracy.
If not our future is in grave peril as the minority in the Senate will continue to obstruct progress. Our hope is that Joe and Schumer are successful.
