That said, you rightly raise the question of mental health.

We have to assume that professional athletes read and understand their contracts as they relate to the broadcast rights companies and .media access to said athletes for interviews.

Where I agree with her is that something has to be done about the format of the press conferences and the asinine questions thrown at the players. Naomi's second set of comments on the matter clarified her position, but what she said originally created real questions about not understanding what she signed up for to earn those big dollars.

Experts suggest that she has always had anxiety issues during interviews. Now we know why. Sadly the big money comes with conditions and while she is a brave progressive young player, I'm not sure she'll survive the existing media circus.

There ought to be way more questions regarding Federer's withdrawal if he shows up at Wimbledon for he is yet to mention the word injury.
