(26,935 posts)I think it's possible - non-terrestrials, that is.
Only because I have heard a few pretty incredible
stories over 2 decades (not recently, though)
I hadn't really thought about humans from the future.
One possibly good thing about that is that we've lasted
longer than we might have thought.
With so many solar systems out there in so many galaxies, and since life can thrive in such a various range of habitats - the sheer numbers to me say to me; it's possible.
Who knows for sure whether intelligent space-faring life couldn't develope in environments we currently consider "iffy".
Tangential topic-
One of the best SF World's with a multitude of non-terestrials from several galaxies - is in David Brin's 2 Uplift Series,m Trilogies, with a stand alone chronologicaly first novel - Sun Diver.
Highly recommened! For those who don't know him. He's an Astrophysicist, and futurist.
