I have thought for years that one of the rights propaganda ploys is to do their best to make sure the left has no 'heroes'. When ever anybody rises up from the left a la Bernie, AOC, Omar, etc they immediately attack and lie and do everything to tear them apart in the public eye. From their point of view the left gets no heroes and the left gets no wins no matter how much it hurts the country.
