Are Democrats on offense or defense? [View all]

What is the Republicans' game?

What is Trump's game?

They are working in tandem.

The Arizona "audit" is a fraudulent activity looking for fraud. It keeps the con-artist Trump up front in the minds of Republican voters. He encourages other state officials to visit Arizona to vouch for their efficiency and professionalism. Because that will make people believe that Trump is still the rightful President and makes it seem credible if they do another "audit" in another state.

It is a game of continuing delay to keep Trump as the leader of the Republican Party, as well as keep him from being indicted, as the criminal he has proven himself to be. It is a masterful game of deception they are playing on their supporters and the American people.

They have been successful in causing the Democrats to re-act, rather than to act. It is a credible point to say that Democrats have been on the defensive, in my opinion.

What should Democrats do to put the Republicans on the defensive?

First of all, they should take the advice of Senator Mitch McConnell. It was he that said there was no need for a Commission, there was no need to convict him in his Senate trial. Because there were other avenues, legal and civil, to hold Mr Trump accountable. That is what he said.

Democrats should take Mitch's advice and investigate them until every American has been exposed to their criminal shenanigans. Take no mercy. Call them before numerous Committees to testify under oath. Once that process is completed, file charges against the criminals that have betrayed their oaths and their country. Put the pressure on them. Put them on the defensive. Occupy their minds.

Do not skirt around the issue that no man is above the law. Follow the advice of Mitch McConnell and use other options. Call them all to testify. This is no country for old men.
