And I think the Chinese lab workers wold have also quarantined themselves if it had been their choice rather than expose their families and communities.
It is the choice every ethical person would make.
People do not always have the right to make ethical choices in countries like China.
In the US or any free press country it would be a news story that lab workers were self quarantining.
You are correct that it may have been classified as to why.
But I doubt a dozen or so people not going home would be somehing that would be secret for long.
