Day 1 videotaped testimony of the alleged issues from people who have NOT BEEN SWORN TO TELL THE TRUTH.

Day 2, testimony in a court of law where those testifying have sworn to tell the truth under penalty of perjury.

The listener gets confused and doesn't get the difference. Testimony is testimony, right? They also lose track of which testimony was presented under which circumstances.

If they do see some of those differences in setting (usually only if someone points it out), they don't realize it was deliberately done that way.
