(8,983 posts)29. I have had to say goodbye many times.
Seeing through the tears when saying goodbye is nearly impossible. I have held my friends in my arms as they leave. The grief is not bearable. Two things are so hard that I often wonder how I managed. The drive home is not definable, the loss is total. The other is what I call trapped grief. It is inside and it wont go anywhere. The feeling is hopelessness. It is hard yet I keep doing it. I now have two more precious souls that bring me joy.
I wish you comfort on this most difficult journey.
