We lost our sweet black lab 5 years ago. I can still smell her fur. And hear her sweet little whines when she wanted attention.
The rainbow bridge takes her to a painless, fun, sunny place with all her friends she met in her lifetime. Treats to eat, animals to chase, grass to rest in, water to splash thru.
I still tear up thinking of our sweet Necee, but the feelings arent as painful now. It takes time.
Its better to have adopted and lost, than never to have adopted at all. You know unconditional love and that will be with you forever.
Peace
