Don't worry. When people can hide behind a screen name, they tend to be the most vicious. The second time they do that is when they think you don't understand their language. I ran into that until I was fluent in Mandarin.

Social media and this pandemic has turned a lot of people feral, especially when the internet allows a person to be the most rude without repercussion.

People like me, who are running for political office, have no private life, and everything we say and don't say, and everything we do and don't do, is under a microscope. My life is now out there for all the belittle, admonish, criticize, and second-guess.
