(1,495 posts)60. I was still wearing my mask before the WHO announcement, but now I know I made the right decision
I consider the WHO to be a reliable source of scientific information. Plus it's not bad or hard to wear a mask. I'm used to wearing them now and I'd rather be safe than sorry. I prefer not to get infected with Covid at all, not even a mild case that can result in long haul Covid.

Yes. Maybe wearing masks will have some beneficial unanticipated consequences

World wide rate of infection was established. Once that was made mask were promoted

One would think masks needed to be promoted before infections spread far and wide.
