Nigara Falls tourism, which is why Higgins is pushing so hard for Canada to reopen the border. But Toronto is still struggling to bring down their infection rate.

The vaccination rate for seniors in my area is around 75%, but the rate for the overall population here is only around 45%. Infections here have dropped a lot. A month ago, we still had a steady rate of hospitalizations and deaths, although they were down a lot from last year. Now we are having days at a stretch with no new cases and no hospitalizations. No deaths in 4 weeks.

But with the low vaccination rate, that could change a lot when the Delta variant picks up. It is in some areas closer to Buffalo, but AFAIK, not my immediate area yet. With sports games open now to everyone regardless of vaccination, and no mask requirements any more, the Delta rate is likely to pick up soon.
