There is info out there on using valerian root with dogs. One of mine is a perpetually anxious rescue and I have given him low doses in tablet form to help him relax when he was younger. I know I read about that on the internet but it was several years ago. I'm sure there's info about it out there, though, and probably recipes for treats. Good luck!
