(2,403 posts)YOU can care about their circumstance all you want. Thats fine. But that isnt where you went with it in your first reply. This isnt at all like AIDS on the 80s. Not even close.
We HAVE a vaccination for covid. To the best of my knowledge we still do not have a vaccination for AIDS though there are some preventative things beyond condoms these days. Though it costs money.
We are talking about people CHOOSING to NOT getting a FREE vaccination. These people have willingly put themselves into their own situation and at the same time have put the general public in danger.
Is it sad they are dying? Sure. Sad that they didnt listen to logic and reason and didnt pay attention to the overwhelming information telling them to get the damned shot. Instead of listening to the CDC they listened to garbage information put out by garbage sources.
Again I dont feel sorry for any of them in those situations. YOU may choose differently. Nowhere have I said that YOU need to think the same as me. However, these people put me, my family, and my community at risk with their continued ignorance right up until they are too far gone to do anything about it. Again, fuck em. They chose it. They own it.
