After shoveling the Treasury into the overstuffed pockets of their wealthy pals, it's time to get all responsible again. No new spending. No tax increases. And the popular media will suffer collective amnesia again and totally forget how the national debt ballooned after 2017. What does the country have to show for this new mountain of debt? Well, a billionaire almost shot himself into space yesterday, so there's that.

God forbid we should spend any money to fix roads, modernize schools, make connecting to the internet as easy and ubiquitous as connecting to the electrical grid, and raise citizens out of poverty. Waste!
