and my dad never understood why I didn't jump at the chance to move there. My mother did, she said she loved to see all the high rise buildings being built because they'd make Florida sink faster.
NM gets a few humid weeks in midsummer. 50% relative humidity is enough to remind me why I never wanted to move to a place where humidity rarely dips below 70%.
My parents are gone now and I miss them. I don't, however, miss going to Florida to visit them.

What about the shops on Gatlinburg's main street? Not long ago Trumpish crap was everywhere.

Yes, Roanoke has Amtrak service again, I understand it was limited for destinations but not boarding
