35. This is sad but true

My next door neighbor was fat. Always ridiculed. Obese. Stopped going to the Doctor. I totally get it.
Her sister always helped her set up her classroom for the year, every year. After not hearing from her, and not reaching her by phone, she called the school. She had missed the day for setting up.

Turns out she passed out next to her bed and was unconscious when her sister found her. After EMT’s and hospitalization, she had a 25 lb. ovarian tumor. She is, thankfully, alive today. The tumor was encapsulated- which rarely happens. Her kidney damage is severe. And after nearly five years she had a small return to her liver. She is their miracle patient and no one mocks her now. She is over 65. She is average weight now.
