18. No, it's just a stupid fad.

It's harmless.

It's a stumbling block for having an intelligent and adult conversation and exchange of information. Either the information, news, idea, editorial isn't conveyed quickly and clearly... or someone has to interrupt and ask what it means. And here we are again.

I've heard others who continue to use it try to justify it by explaining that it "hurts Trump's feelings" or it screws with Google's algorithms (or some other equally contrived and nonsensical reason).

I guess people think they're being clever and original by following-the-crowd on this... but I guess that's the nature of fads. Everyone thinks is their "own" idea or that it's the greatest thing since paper napkins. (It's not.)
