He also made two contributions of $500,000 each to the 1820 PAC, a PAC created solely to support the re-election of Senator Susan Collins of Maine, in 2019 and 2020.

In August 2020 Schwarzman donated $10 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, a super-PAC tied to Mitch McConnell.

Schwarzman is one of at least 33 billionaire donors of trumpcult Republicans, half of them as nuts as the base.
