My hubby's oncologist told us about this a few years ago when hubby was being treated for melanoma (successfully). He was very excited about it, explained how it worked in detail with drawings to illustrate, and even emailed me links to articles about it. He did this to give us hope that even if hubby's melanoma came back, THIS was in the works.

So, when I heard about the mRNA vaccines, I immediately made the connection to this work, and also read how it was just a matter of shifting gears. This knowledge gave me great faith in the mRNA vaccines. I wish the CDC and the media had done a better job of explaining this at the beginning (I use it whenever I talk to anyone about it), but I know that fucking TRUMP was why that did not happen.
