It doesn't change the fact that Progressives would look and BE pretty stupid to put Cuomo in the defendant's chair before Trump sees his moment of justice. It's the sort of purity that undermines our trustworthiness as people able to appreciate the actual degree of intentional harm. For example, Al Franken.
It's the same basic sensibility and personal equation of justice distilled into absolutism that animates the people who dedicate their lives to picketing abortion clinics. They're not fundamentally wrong but they are denying the complexity and ignoring the competitive priorities.
