The Governor of Florida banned vaccine passports so his Republican followers could freely pass along the COVID variants to whomever they wished without consequences. A Federal Judge has put that absurd plan on hold and is allowing cruise lines to demand proof of COVID vaccination so they can protect their crews, other passengers and ports of entry. We have lost about 2% of our population to this virus and it escapes me why the Republicans want more people to die when using simple safeguards like vaccines, masks and vaccine passports would reduce the toll. I am guessing it’s the same mental exercise that prevents them from wanting common sense laws for guns, residential buildings, pollution and global warming. All disasters, awaiting solutions.
