Why is Mitt Romney so unpopular in his home state of Massachusetts? [View all]

Perhaps some natives of that state can explain?

I know that Al Gore lost Tennessee in the presidential race but he was nowhere as unpopular as Mitt is in MA??

Is there something we need to know?
