13. PSU was saved for the adults and the kids are just an excuse

If the kids are good enough to play at PSU they can get another scholarship somewhere else.

PSU football was saved because it funded every other sport at Penn State. The money does not go to the kids, it goes to the Vollyball coach, the hockey coach, the secretaries, the guy who cuts the lawn and all that. If they killed the golden goose then all that is gone.

I think killing the football program would do a few things. First and foremost, it might help to make a point that you shouldn't help to rape children. Second, it would encourage other universities not to make foootball an all consuming goal and run over the educational mission of the university.
