and support Democratic video artists on YouTube? There's nothing worse than spending days producing a video like Mitt Girl did, only to find shall we say "a lack of enthusiasm" from fellow Democrats. Why can't we understand how important it is to show our support for liberal artists who put their hearts and souls into their work? They present our message to a much larger audience, in visually enlightening and entertaining ways. Why oh WHY can't we use the power of DU to help bump this young lady's video to the Top 100 Political Videos on YouTube? It's so easy to do, and would take just a few seconds of your time.
Steps you can take that would help bump the work of liberal artists to a much larger viewing audience:
The first 24 hours of a new YouTube video is crucial. That is the time span an artist has to make Top 100 Political videos. A lot of people go to that page on YouTube to see the best of the best, the ones that are making a buzz on the intertubes. If an artist makes it to the Top 100, the viewership increases tenfold. There are 3 things you can do to help make that happen.
Click the Watch on YouTube button on the screen displayed above. That alone will give the video a second hit. Viewing it here on DU counts as one, viewing it on YouTube counts again, and YouTube gives honors to most viewed videos, and it has to occur within the first 24 hours to make the Top 100 status.
Once on the YouTube page, click Like. YouTube gives honors to videos that are most liked on the first day, and that puts the artist in the Top 100 realm.
Leave a comment on the YouTube page. That again puts the artist in the potential realm of Top 100 if they garner enough comments the first day.

Granted, Mitt Girl's video can no longer earn Top 100 status because it was posted a few days ago. But it can still go viral if we help it along.
Mitt Girl, I highly recommend you create a Reddit account and post in their video forum. They have 3 million members so it's a huge viewership potential for you. I haven't checked out Tumblr but perhaps that's also another avenue for you. Create a Twitter account and post video under a popular, trending hash tag. Post your video on Daily Kos. They're usually great at promoting liberal videos. When you create a work of art, be ready to promote it on the first day, and have all of your accounts on various liberal forums established and ready to go.
These are just a few kernels of wisdom I've gained through the years while promoting my own work, and hope I've enlightened DU'ers on ways they can help promote the "liberal" arts.
