Here in the DC area, ours get a lot of use. I've even stopped checking the price of the variable-toll (reversible) lanes. If the gates are open, I'll take them automatically. (We even have an extra one that we keep handy to loan to out-of-town guests.)

Just stay out of those express lanes. Those prices can really bone you if you're not careful.

I don't think you can drive for more than an hour (in any direction) and NOT pay a toll in PA.
