But I’ll do it again: The taliban stopped attacking us when they started negotiating with Dump. That was in 2018. Those dots are easy to connect.

Here again, in what world are they going to tolerate the presence of 2,500 us troops in perpetuity after they have just won a civil war?

Maybe if we ask them nicely?
