the wrong person about ORGANIZED RELIGIONS. They all put women as secondary. And by that I feel that I'm not important, actually I feel hated.

I have felt this way since my grandmother used to drag me at the age of 5 to her Methodist church. The hypocrisy was overwhelming. Plus the dudes got all the good jobs and the women did all the shit work.

And these ORGANIZED RELIGIONS do nothing but start WARS. I want no part of their hypocrisy and their constant demand for MONEY!!!

Most of these supposed Christians wouldn't recognize Jesus if he washed their feet. They'd be screaming, "EEK, get this dirty hippie out of here. Call the police."

Historians say Jesus never really existed which is kinda sad because he was a cool dude. Now if Xtians acted more like him, things might be OK. But they don't. I have Fundies in my family....up close and personal. They are hateful people. I come in contact with them as little as possible.

How did you decide on Mormonism (and IMHO, it is a cult...a very weird one) over more mainstream religions? You don't have to explain if you don't want to.

I guess my spiritual ties are more in line with the Native Americans who treasured Mother Earth and Father Sky.

My Truth is: The extremely wealthy and powerful of this world made up ORGANIZED RELIGIONS as a way to manipulate and control people. Lots of people, for some reason, need to have someone/something to tell them how to live or what to do. There is little in self-reflection nor any questioning of the priests/leaders/whoever. I don't need a middleman to talk to 'The Universe.' I can go outside and look at beautiful Mother Nature and I am overwhelmed with what I see and feel. I don't need some dude yakking at me telling me what to think, see, say, etc.

And that whole eating of blood and bones....just creeped me out.

I mean if you step back and look at the world of ORGANIZED RELIGIONS, I don't see how you can't see the manipulation, power and control. It's insane. I'm not gonna go fight some Muslim because the person is Muslim. Do you know how much money the Elite make off of WAR? They sell weapons to both sides. It puts the young to work as cannon fodder. With high unemployment worldwide, I wouldn't be surprised to see WW3 coming around the corner. It's all been set up as another Crusade of Xtains vs. Muslims. And the Rich and Powerful are just drooling over the money they can make. They love to see the stupid citizens get all aroused w/ patriotism and fundamentalism. They're laughing all the way to the bank.

And King James....who cares what this dude's version of the Bible says? It is all to keep the rich and powerful rich and powerful...I see it so very easily. It's crap. It keeps women oppressed. And I've felt that since I was a kid. And I never believed that a God would ever want that....EVER. Geez, it keeps everyone oppressed.

And you can tell me you're not oppressed. But that just says you can't see the forest for the trees. We live in a patriarchy and the biggest supporter of that is ORGANIZED RELIGIONS.

I want no part of them. I can help poor people, animals, nature without any intermediary from some organized religion.
