8. Has no one on DU SEEN the disinformation videos??

It’s depressing but I have one friend and one relative who have been captured by a bunch of overlapping videos that show phD or MD persons who combine distorted but convincing technical language with stories of a corrupted FDA owned by big pharma who is squelching any information about people dying of heart attacks or strokes days after getting the vaccine.

These two people are far on opposite sides politically — one a trump supporter and the other more or less a socialist — but the videos they watch share about half of the same comtent.

We are surrounded by overlapping brainwashed cults. The silos of social media are exposing them to endless streams of videos custom made to appeal to and reinforce their particular mix of beliefs.

It’s so upsetting but I see no actions or counter-messaging that will break up the stranglehold this disinformation has on American society—or on my friend.
